Use Technology to Craft an Effective Resume

There’s nothing high-tech about writing an effective resume. There’s nothing high-tech about strong written communication skills, a word processor, a printer, and some sound advice.
Yet not everyone realizes that the tools and resources are there, ready to help anyone who takes full advantage of them. There are word processors freely available on the Internet, and—thanks to the miracle of blogging—at least two informative articles on resume writing.
You have Bripman, who stresses the importance of avoiding careless errors in an ironically flippant manner, while Alvin says that proving your skill set is the way to go.
In any case, it’s obvious that technology can help Filipinos write effective resumes. If only more of them maximized what’s available.

My rule of thumb is to put everything on one page. If it can’t fit then remove some crap. And it’s not about the resume really, it’s all about the portfolio or work samples. The resume’s only purpose is to display a link to your online portfolio/work samples
Here’s my resume, I removed the cp# and exact address for security purposes

You should publish an online version of your resume. The great thing about web pages is that you can provide information as needed, without overwhelming the reader like a long resume would.
