Gadgets Make the Dreams of Fans Come True

Last night we found ourselves attending Sunsilk Life Can’t Wait, a rebranding event that featured local stars Maja Salvador, Heart Evangelista, and Marian Rivera. It was hosted by Sam Oh of Rated Oh!

We imagine that while the general consumer was limited to the simple point-and-shoot, their fandom was pretty limited. Even if they did get a pic of their favorite star, all they had was a decent-quality photograph suitable only for personal enjoyment.

But with high-end technology becoming more affordable by the day, fans can now enjoy their in-person encounters much more. See how we captured a (low-quality) videos with the Nokia E51’s built-in camera:

Continue for another video and a high-quality photo.

And see Sophie’s up-close-and-personal picture of the three ladies of the night, taken with a Nikon D40x:

With all this technology at our disposal, it’s not only easier to capture genuinely interesting moments, but to share them with the rest of the world as well.
