Marie Casas covers the fundamental aspects of starting up by citing seven to-dos for local wannabe entrepreneurs. She also links to articles relevant to each task. To summarize:
- Unleash the Entrepreneur within
- Save at least 3 months worth of living expenses
- Find 1 or 2 partners
- Register your company
- Have a common conducive workplace
- Raise funds from your own pocket and from family and friends
- Focus your efforts
She’s got the right idea, because as late players to the online scene, Pinoy online entrepreneurs have a chance to study the work of previous ventures (that’s our eighth task by the way). Why take on all the risks of innovation when others have already taken the losses?.
