Get Firefox Add-Ons to Work With Firefox 3 Beta

One thing we’re not liking about our Beta 2 version of Mozilla Firefox 3 is that they don’t support extensions. It’s impossible to enjoy the many improvements if it’s impossible to make full use of great add-ons like Fireshot.
That’s why a certain discussion on Mozilla’s forums makes us happy. Apparently there’s a way to force extensions to work with Firefox 3, beta or not. And it involves modifying the installation package of the extensions themselves. Take a look at the discussion here, or save time by reading a clear step-by-step here.
We’re also pretty sure that the instructions can be modified to work with Firefox 3 Beta 3.
