The Weakening Dollar is a Boon for Local Online Entrepreneurs
By Rico, 1:01 pm Mon Dec 10 2007 - Analysis - 6 Opinions

The US dollar is now worth five pesos less than what is was a few months ago. From a local perspective, this matters mainly to those who earn in USDs—a lot of whom make a living online.
At the same time however, the weakening US dollar makes it easier for local tech startups and companies to set up their online properties. Most services crucial for web presence, such as hosting and domain registration, are paid for in dollars. With the USD’s 10% loss in value, these are more affordable than ever.
A great way to track this trend is to use namecheap.com, a domain registrant, and Phil Web Sales, a hosting provider, as examples:

More so if you’re using high end or dedicated server hosting.
