PSP Slim Sighted in the Philippines

Technograph recently got to try out the PlayStation Portable Slim and Light (aka the PSP-2000), a more portable version of Sony’s mobile gaming console. We compared the PSP Slim with the original PlayStation Portable, and found some improvements across the board.
The most obvious change is that the PSP Slim is definitely more slim and light. Side-by-side, the new console is thinner than its older counterpart by about a fifth, and it felt much lighter. The display is slightly brighter, and keypad seems easier to press. The new shiny, “enamel-coated” exterior worries us though. Vendors claim it’s more scratch-resistant, but experience tells us otherwise. And, it’s apparent that the PSP Slim sacrifices build quality for the sake of being compact.
Technograph has learned that the PSP Slim & Light is available at Greenhills for around Php 11,000. As of this writing, only the black version is available, with the white and pink versions apparently sold out. Continue for more pictures.
